Dubai Municipality requires all residential swimming pools to have safety fencing. Most villa owners want something that provides the required safety barrier without blocking the view of their pool and garden. That is where frameless glass pool fencing comes in. We install 12mm tempered glass panels fixed with core drilled SS 316L stainless steel spigots. The glass is strong enough that an adult can lean against it, and the frameless design means you see straight through to the water.
The regulations require a minimum fence height of 1200mm around the pool perimeter. Gates must be self closing and self latching with the latch at least 1500mm from ground level. The gap under the fence must not exceed 100mm. We design every pool fence installation to meet or exceed these requirements. Our self closing hinges are rated for 50,000 cycles and our child safe latches meet the required specifications.
Pool water contains chlorine. The air around a pool carries chlorine vapor. In Dubai humidity, this combination corrodes regular stainless steel fast. SS 304 fittings around a pool will show rust spots within 6 to 12 months. SS 316L contains molybdenum which makes it highly resistant to chloride corrosion. Every spigot, hinge, and latch we install for pool fencing is SS 316L marine grade. It costs more upfront but saves you from replacing corroded fittings within a year or two.

A squeegee with soapy water once a week keeps glass pool fencing looking clear. For mineral deposits from pool splash, a mild vinegar solution works well. Avoid abrasive cleaners which can scratch the glass surface.
