Anything in constant contact with water needs to be stainless steel SS 316L or marine grade aluminum. We do not use regular steel or SS 304 for water features because they corrode. The pumps we specify are submersible units designed for continuous operation. LED lighting is integrated into the design for evening ambiance, using IP68 rated underwater fixtures.
